I have PicLens installed for my Firefox browser for more than 6 months now. I used it from time to time for Picassa or Flickr and I really liked the way the slideshows were displayed and the feeling of the visual search.

The reason I am writing this post is because today I had a small “revelation”. I noticed this week the automated update of the extension to 1.7, but today I used it for the first time. If you click on the Discover icon on the top left you will see something similar with Google News, but focused on photos and videos that can be played inside the interface. If you go to the top right you will notice the search box that gives you access to the search engines (Amazon, Google and so on) . You should use it :)

Is clear to me that PicLens can evolve anytime in the perfect 10 ft interface that can take over your  internet enabled living room tv.

A new way of propulsion for standard airplanes. It looks weird, but if flies very well.
